  Correct first name of my mother is 'Dionne' but the registrar mis-spelled it on her birth certiificate as ''Dianne''. There were French-Canadian quinns born at this time with the surname 'Dionne' whichbecame a very popular Christian name. They were known as 'the Dionne Quinns' / all girls. This is what led Albert &Myra to name my mother as 'Dionne'. The birth certificate was never corrected.
